Loss is not only an ending, but also a bridge that quietly connects all generations through memory and emotion. Shine On was created to help more families talk about death with honesty, warmth, and courage, offering a safe, supportive space for gentle understanding.
Project Three – Shine On
OBJECTIVE
To create a compassionate and approachable brand system that helps families communicate about death and loss with children. The goal is to normalize difficult conversations through accessible tools, fostering emotional understanding, resilience, and intergenerational connection.
APPROACH
The design integrates storytelling, cultural perspectives,and emotional principles. Four interconnected deliverables including a booklet, a website, a mobile app, a tangible album, and a notebook work together to provide guidance and emotional support. The tone is warm and gentle, aiming to transform grief from silence into meaningful dialogue.
